Singer/songwriter Kevin Montgomery

and special guest  Kaci Bolls bring their

50 States In 50 Days Tour to St. Pete

Inspired by a chance meeting with Peter Jenkins, author of the book A Walk Across America, musician Kevin Montgomery decided to set out on his own cross-country adventure to connect with Americans in intimate concerts held in venues from homes to taverns and restaurants. Where Jenkins journeyed across America by foot meeting people in America’s small towns, Montgomery is using social networks like FaceBook, Twitter and MySpace to connect with Americans.

The 2009 concert series kicked off on Oct. 24 in Alaska and will span all 50 states in a marathon 50 days. Saturday, November 28th will bring Montgomery to The Globe Coffee Lounge in St. Pete. Showtime is 9PM and there is a suggested donation of $20 for the performance and a portion of the proceeds go to Wounded Warrior Project, a charity for severely injured vets (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org), and Sands, a charity for bereaved parents (http://www.uk-sands.org).

Kevin comes from a musical family, with parents steeped in Nashville music making.   Kaci Bolls also hails from Nashville.  This should be a great night of music and hopefully some stories!
