Hiya Musicians!

If you want to play the Globe, here are some basic truths…

*We feature anti-folk, alternative, acoustic music.  Gypsy guitars, Spanish blend, etc.  We love all sorts of music, but we are a clattery place and this is what works.

* Please drop off a cd if you want to play here. Please do NOT direct me to listen to your music on line–I don’t have a sound card on my computer.

*If you go to our myspace page, there is a paragraph that tells you pretty much the following: we don’t have a sound system, we don’t pay. We also never take from the door; we try to throw some flow into the tip bucket, and if you are nice we buy you drinks.

*We like you to play mostly originals, though we have had some bands in here that do covers so original, it counted!
